Kickin' my own ass

So, I've been doing very well since the new year following a loose Paleo lifestyle. I have had cheats, maybe 2 a week that included rice or some form of bread, also I've been consuming dairy and alcohol. I think I'd like to do a full overhaul of my insides and be strict Paleo for the next 30 days. Interestingly enough, several Crossfit sites/blogs have conflicting rules on items: condiments, vinegar, nightshades, etc.

I have a feeling that my official start day of my 30 really can't start until I receive The Paleo Diet book in the mail; I ordered from Amazon over the weekend. For me, compliance is key.

My rules:

  1. No Grains, including corn.
  2. No Dairy
  3. No white potatoes
  4. No Alcohol
  5. Nightshades are ok
  6. Vinegar is ok
  7. Fatty meat cuts and offal are ok
  8. No added SALT
  9. No SUGAR
  10. Only Coconut Oil and Olive Oil. No BUTTER.
  11. Organic, grassfed, wild caught meat, all animals from the land/sea/sky. 
  12. Bacon and Sausage should be uncured. 
  13. Sweet Potatoes are ok in moderation
  14. All whole fruits and veggies
Time to feed myself :)
